I am so very allergic to flowers and when I receive them I feel so bad that someone wasted their money because I will not be able to enjoy them as much as I would like. I feel like saying “Thanks but can I get a box of chocolates instead?” I was recently presented with the opportunity to review and item from ProFlowers and thought, no thanks, but then I was happy to hear that they offer more then just flowers. I really like the idea of sending someone a bonsai tree as a gift for any occasion. It is appropriate for any gender and looks great on a desk or table and I think it is a great idea for someone who lives in an apartment. I was afraid that my cats would eat the leaves but for some reason they have actually left it alone. The tree is easy to maintain as well, I only need to water it 2-3 times a week and leave it in a sunny location. The care routine is great for me because unfortunately I don’t have a green thumb and tend to not have much luck with growing plants and flowers in my backyard.
Just think, if you send someone flowers they will die and if you send chocolate it will get eaten and they will gain weight (boo) but a bonsai tree will last for years and is a unique gift idea.
