Birthday Fun

My birthday was on Tuesday, and Daddy took the day off of work to spend it with me. After my Doctor’s appointment (not fun) we went to Guitar Center. Daddy needed something for his guitar and thought it would be fun for me to play on the drums and make lots of noise.

Then we went to IKEA. Kenny Bo Benny really likes my IKEA KATT and tries to snatch him from me when we play together. So I thought it would be best to get him one of his own.

Can you tell which on is the new one?? Mine is the one on the left, what a difference it makes if you don’t put the kitty in the dryer! Seriously, it is the same type of kitty but mine has been washed and dried in the dryer so many times that it has taken a toll on him.

The next day (yes, I know..not my birtday anymore) Mama and I went back to IKEA and I got myself another ‘bigger’ IKEA KATT and some other friends. Here I am making lunch for my new friends (at IKEA)

Here is a picture of all the ‘friends’ in my inner circle. New bunny that I call Wonder Pet Bunny, new stripy IKEA KATT I call Ursula, my original IKEA KATT and now my new IKEA KATT…which I call IKEA KATT TOO..or 2.

My 3rd Birthday Party

I had a Hannah Montana Rockin dance party for my 3rd birthday. I won’t be 3 until Tuesday, but we had my party on Saturday so my cousins could come too.

We played Put the Tail on the Cow.
We had a treasure hunt outside and then divided up the loot.We had a dance party in my new Hannah Montana dance stage. We all rocked out.

Lily is a Rock Star!

Lily has been such a rock star this past week.

We started her at Preschool! Can you belive it? She told me on the first day – I am not going to cry this time. I dropped her off and she didn’t even give me a kiss she just ran off with the teacher to wash her hands and have a morning snack. Background info….there is a new private preschool (like Phoenix & Kindercare) that opened up right by Louis’ work in the Zinfandel Village neighborhood (so it is in a neighborhood, next to an elementary school) and it is called Goddard, they are only two other schools in California but they are really big in the east.

We went there with Lily for a tour and then to their Open House. She got to meet the teacher and play in the classroom for a little bit with the teacher. We then took her back again to reserve her spot and once again to fill out the paperwork. Then just a few days later (June 10th) it was time for her first day. I was so nervous that she was going to cry and fuss and fight about the whole thing. But she was excited to go and she hoped in the car and said ‘ Daddy is going to pick me up from Preschool after lunch’ and then she said ‘ I am not going to cry this time’…referring to the two times we tried to get her to go to the Phoenix school.

Anyway, when we got there she was good to go. I walked her to the class room and she ran off with the teacher. I went home and didn’t know what to do with myself. I had work to do but I was pretty sure that the school was going to call me and tell me to come and pick her up. But, nope all was well and Louis picked her up after her lunch and brought her home. I was in shock.

My next surprise from Lily was in the form of pee. The teacher works on Potty Training in her classroom. Once she is potty trained (and 3 years old) she can move onto the next class, which she really wants to do because they have a bug exhibit and a computer in there. Anyway, she peed in the potty twice at preschool (not in her pull up) for the teacher…someone she doesn’t really know got her to pee in the potty. She did it again the next time at preshcool too (which was Thursday). On Friday and Saturday at home she wanted to only wear underwear, no pull up. She went to the potty on her own several times and only had one accident a day (in the form of poop)…but wait there is more! We went out on Saturday and she kept her pull up dry until she used the potty with Auntie Daria at the Punchline! She is now using public potties! She started doing poops in the potty on Sunday! What the heck? This kid is on a roll.

Now she is cutting her last molars, her two year molars are coming in on the top. She told me that her top teeth hurt, she let me look in her mouth (another shocker) and there they were, poking through.

My baby is getting so big!

Our next goal is to get her to go to sleep without us in the room. It almost happened tonight, but she keep having to go pee in the potty that she got up so many times and then came looking for me. But oh well, we will try again tomrrow night and maybe I can get more things done around the house!!

See, look below…even Junior is a happy about it!

My Day at Funderland

Daddy was on vacation this week and one of the things we did was to go to Funderland in William Land Park. I went on my first ride all by my self. It was a little fishy ride that went up and down. I went on it a ton of times.

Daddy rode with me for my first rollercoaster ride. Despite the look on my face, I was having a great time.

I went on the log ride with Mama and Daddy a few times.

For dinner, we decided to go to Hooters…now I know what you are thinking..but don’t think it. Hooters is just a name…their food is good…ish and the girls are really nice. We did get confirmation that a Hooters is coming to Rancho Cordova so Daddy can have chicken wings & mama and I can have grilled cheese sandwiches from time to time.

We did pick up a new shirt for me at Hooters. It says on the front “Future Hooters Girl” and on the back it says “Make ‘em drool early”

Some Pictures I Drew

Here are some pictures I drew today. Mama thought I should put them up on the blog. They are pictures of my kitties and a doggie I saw today at the pet store.

Princess Ice Show

Mama & Daddy took me and Nona to go see the Princess Ice Show. I had a great time because I got to see all of the princesses. They were wonderful skating around and singing songs. I waved to each of them and I know that they saw me too. Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Tinkerbelle also made an appearance.

Mama curled my hair, and gave me some princess stick on earrings, princess jewerly and barrets to wear. I wore one of my favorite t-shirts, Princess All Star Cheerleaders and a pair of jeans.

I was getting hungry so Daddy bought me some popcorn, but I had to share it.
