I’m super jazzed to be heading out to the Milk the Moment Got Milk? tour this week and thought you might like to come too! Here is a link to their website with more detailed information http://www.whymilk.com/milk_tour.php.
At the tour you can:
- Enter the “Milk the Moment” contest for a chance to win the ultimate family dinner experience with Milk Mustache celebrity chef Tyler Florence
- Explore interactive dinner plate that puts milk head-to-head with other dinnertime beverage choices and about the benefits of being a milk drinker and receive tips on how to set a healthy dinner table
- The NFL and the National Dairy Council’s (NDC) Fuel Up to Play 60 football toss that focuses on the importance of eating healthy and physical activity
- Snap your very own souvenir Milk Mustache photo
- “Pass the Gallon” through Facebook to benefit Feeding America to help moms build strong families with milk
This year’s theme is about building strong families. A recent survey found that most Americans are not regularly sitting down for dinner – and when they are, the nutrient value of the meal is often lacking, especially when it comes to what’s in their glass. To encourage moms to set the table with milk to help build a strong family, the national “got milk?” Milk Mustache Mobile Tour is traveling coast-to-coast to celebrate those special moments that families share around the dinner table. We attended the event today held at Arden Fair Mall and it was fun.
We had our picture taken with milk mustache’s and got free milk! They even had pink milk available and Lily finally got to try some but Lily still prefers chocolate milk. I was able to pick up some great tip sheets for packing a healthy lunch, benefits of chocolate milk and an eating right sheet for kids.
