Toilet Cleaning Gel ROCKS!

cleaning gelI have started to use a new toilet bowl cleaner and it is awesome.  We have really hard water in our house and cleaning the toilets is not fun.  I have used many cleaners before to keep the bowl clean but always end up using a pumice stone to chip off the hard water stains.

Now, I have found this new product called Scrubbing Bubbles Toilet Cleaning Gel.  You get 6 gel applications in the tube and they last in the toilet for about 2 weeks, the box says 6 days, but I have found that they last longer.  All you need to do is make sure your toilets are sparkling clean before you attach the gel to the toilet bowl as it wont actually clean the toilet, but rather keep it from getting dirty.

The scent is even quite nice and is something that is pleasant smelling, not something like you would expect to find in a toilet bowl cleaner.

SonicScrubber

So, how many times have you reached for that electric toothbrush and slapped on an old brush head and just tried to scrub the gunk off your sink faucet or tried to clean the little area behind it?  I know that I’ve tried a few times to get those hard water spots scrubbed off with my electric toothbrush but I didn’t really work.  So imagine my glee when I was strolling down the cleaning isle at Walmart when I discovered the bathscrubmedSonicScrubber.  It is basically an over sized toothbrush with more power.  I had to pick it up and bring it home, as well as the accessory kit which included 4 more brushes in various sizes.

I tried it on my toughest spot, the sink faucet and it worked.  I had to use some CLR with it first but it really got those spots around the base of the faucet clean as well as the hard to reach spot behind the faucet.

I highly recommend the SonicScrubber for all the spots in your house that need a little extra scrubbin.  The Queen Of Clean even recommends it, so you can’t go wrong?  Check out their site for more information about the SonicScrubber.
