We decided that it was time to take Lily to an interactive play group and we choose Gymboree Play & Music. It is no secret that I have a fear of clowns. I knew that Gymboree’s mascot was a clown but I really had no idea that a clown would be involved in every darn minute of Lily’s play group. The teacher used Gymbo to demonstrate what we would do at each segment of the class. There was even a Gymbo puppet that I had to use and play with Lily during the object tracking section. Lily really liked Gymbo too so this means that I have to get over my fear of clowns.

I actually don’t like Scarecrows or Raggedy Ann & Andy either, they just aren’t right. I think it goes back to my childhood when I saw a cartoon with Raggedy Ann & Andy and they came to life and had some type of wacky adventure. After that I always thought that my Raggedy Ann & Andy came to life too and it just creeped me out. What scares me even more is to see people dressed up as them on Halloween, what is wrong with these people? I am not sure why I don’t like Scarecrows but it might be because they can sometimes look like Raggedy Andy and I didn’t really care for the Wizard of Oz movie when I was younger either.

I was so happy to go to a fun place to play with my Mommy. It is called Gymboree and there is a really funny clown that lives there. He played with us and we had a great time. My mommy said that we are going to go there every week. My Mommy forgot to take pictures of me during the class but will remember next time. For now here is a sweet pictures of that loveable clown named Gymbo.
