So I am basically an very impatient person…no surprise here. When it was time to take Lily to have her pictures taken I went to the Picture People in the mall where you get your photos in less than an hour. I took Lily to the Arden Fair store for her Halloween pictures but the photographer scared the crap out of her.
He tested the camera and made the big flash go off several times right in front of her, brought down the backdrop and let it slam to the floor and then after I put her on the backdrop he jumped out from behind the big flash and took her picture. The two pictures here are what he took. The full body picture of her is the one he took jumping out and the one of her crying is her reaction. I get so sad when I see her face in that second picture. She was a mess after all of that but we tried to get her to calm down and then we worked with another photographer named Lindsay and she was great but Lily wasn’t going to have anything to do with it so we left and only got a few pictures. I complained to the corporate customer service and I got a personalized response right away and they told me that my comments would go straight to the the District Manager.

I decided to give it another shot ….hahaha…a few days later but went to a new photo studio. I choose Sears Portrait studios and guess what??? You can get your pictures right then and there too!! Lily’s was a little bit afraid at first but we got some good shots but then she started to throw a fit so we took a long break and came back with Daddy. She did a little bit better and started to loosen up towards the end of the photo shoot so hopefully she hasn’t been traumatized by her Picture People experience.
